I like the final version. We don't paid too much attention to that song because it's there for more than a year (i think) now but it's growing on me again like the first time i listen to it

It's Why Try, anything that I can say has already been said.

This song has grown on me again since it really fits the album really well. Nice of LB for sticking with it.

Anyone else think the guitar in the verse sounded so much better in the demo?

I'm just going by the 1:30 sample

Yeah, the demo guitar sound seems fuller, i think the mastering has cut in the medium frequencies to bring the general volume higher

i'm not fan of this song, when the drums and guitars kicks in, it kind reminds me of coal chamber (which is not so great), certainly a good live song however

I love how the guitars come in at the beginning.

Small lyric changes throw me off. Gotta learn the new words now!

I still think this is one of the more powerful songs on the album. It's continuing to be a favorite of mine, except now its finally CD quality!

It's amazing how a slightly different mix and a wee tweeking of lyrics and it's turned this song from "meh" into "fuck yeah!" for me.

i guess i've been the biggest "why try" fanatic since day 1 and even after hearing the whole album now i still absolutely love it. i can't fucking wait to hear this live. i don't do lastfm anymore but if i did this would be the track with the longest bar lol, i'm literally addicted to it and have listened to it almost every day for a year

Love how the drums have been tweaked, they sound more alive in this version - made me love the song again in a whole new way. They explode out of the speakers more, especially John's snare.

Love how the song opens up right from the beginning. Hits hard right off the bat.

The bridge reminds me of Almost Over with that "ah" sample
